British Academy responds to Prime Minister's review of post-18 education

Responding to today's announcement by the Prime Minister of a review of post-18 education and funding, President of the British Academy, Professor Sir David Cannadine said:

“It is vital that any changes to the higher education system maintain the UK’s position as a world leader in the humanities and social sciences. 

“We look forward to working with Government to ensure that everyone can reap the benefits of these subjects.”
