This report, commissioned by the British Academy and prepared by Scientia Scripta, provides a gap analysis of sample policies and terms and conditions documents from UK funders and higher education institutions (HEIs), against recommendations from four guidance documents on equitable partnerships. It also includes findings from a survey distributed to institutions from the Global South. It draws on the findings to provide specific actionable recommendations for Universities, Funders, and the wider sector acting collaboratively for improving equity in research partnerships.
