Writing Workshops Career Tracker (Currently Running)
Project description
The British Academy has commissioned Kohlrabi consulting to develop a Research Career Tracker for the Writing Workshops programme, a long-standing international funding scheme delivered by the Academy. This tracker is being designed to capture participating researchers’ career trajectories over time in a systematic and structured way, for the better understanding of the long-term outcomes and impacts in early and mid-career researchers around the world.
This work is part of Academy’s wider British Academy Researcher’s Career Tracker (BARCT) portfolio. Previous tracking exercises have focused on Postdoctoral Fellowships and the British Academy Rising Star Engagement Awards, generating valuable insights into researcher development, mobility, collaboration and impact. This current phase extends to include participants in the International Writing Workshops, while also exploring innovative and systematic approaches to tracking researcher career trajectories over time.
The British Academy plans to contact former workshop participants to confirm their details and invite them to take part in the development of the tracker. Anyone who believes they are eligible to participate, but who has not heard from us by the end of March 2026, is very welcome to get in touch directly via [email protected] and we will follow up with them.
