Summary
James Warren studied Classics at Clare College, Cambridge, where he took the Intensive Greek course. After two years as a Henry Lumley Junior Research Fellow at Magdalene College, in 2001 he took up a Lectureship in the Faculty of Classics and a Fellowship at Corpus Christi College where he teaches for both the Classics and Philosophy Triposes.
His research interests include Presocratic philosophy, Plato, Aristotle, and Hellenistic philosophy and his publications range across themes in metaphysics, philosophy of mind and moral psychology, ethics, and political philosophy.
He is the editor of the ‘Elements in Ancient Philosophy’ series for Cambridge University Press.
