Summary

Dr Brett Christophers FBA received his education at the Universities of Oxford (BA Hons), British Columbia (MA) and Auckland (PhD). He has worked at Uppsala University in Sweden since completing his doctoral studies in 2008. His training is as an economic geographer but writes broadly about the political economy of Western capitalism both past and present.

He is the author or co-author of 10 books. 'House Society' – a study of how housing and especially landlord-tenant relations shape the contemporary world – will be published by Allen Lane in 2027.
