Focus of this section
Anthropology and geography are overlapping and complementary disciplines that help us to understand the complexities of the human condition worldwide. Anthropologists focus in depth on humanity in all its aspects: from our evolution as a species, to our relationship with the material world, and the vast variety of our social practices and cultural forms. Geographers study the ways in which spaces, places, landscapes and environments are involved in the operation and outcome of social, economic, political and biophysical processes.
