Support the Academy through BSUF
Donors in the USA can give tax efficiently to the British Academy via the BSUF donor-advised fund. BSUF charges no fees to the Academy, or to you.
Donations can be made in three ways:
- Cheques in US dollars should be made out to the 'British Schools and Universities Foundation, Inc' and accompanied by a transmittal letter that the preference for the donation is the British Academy. They should be sent to the British Schools and Universities Foundation at 575 Madison Avenue, Suite 1006, New York, NY 10022-2511
- Donations can be made online through Network for Good (for donations less than $1,000) - a 3% fee is charged for this service.
- Donations can be made in securities by contacting BSUF agent Anita Hairston at UBS by emailing [email protected] or by phone from the USA (757) 624-3381. In all three cases you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
Give from a US charitable Foundation
The British Academy has in place an equivalency determination, stating that it is the equivalent of a U.S. public charity, so US grantmakers can give to the Academy tax efficiently too.
