Roberts, Colin Henderson, 1909-1990

Extract relating to military intelligence work:

In the early part of the war, he joined the Foreign Office, and spent the ensuing five years in intelligence work, in London and at Bletchley.

[C H Roberts was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 1947. He resigned from the Academy in 1980.]
