This workshop aims to bring together early-career researchers from Turkey with established academics and journal editors from the UK, Finland and Switzerland. The objective is to:

a) create a platform for the discussion of problems and limitations in the academic production of knowledge; and

b) enhance skills for academic publication and grant writing.

The various sessions will involve panels, practice clinics and open-floor discussions on the methodological challenges and ethical dilemmas involved in conducting fieldwork and writing ethnography in politically volatile contexts.
