These workshops seek to:
a) Intensely mentor a selected group of South Sudanese early career researchers until they have an article ready for submission to a high-impact journal.
b) Share the research findings of these articles with the academic and policy communities in Juba (South Sudan), including the UK’s Department for International Development.
c) Promote discussions in South Sudan’s government and universities about how they can support early-career researchers and research more broadly.
d) Inspire a larger number of early-career researchers in the Global South to write articles for high-impact journals via an online podcast.
