Writing in the Field of Education

It is crucial for research from across the world, rather than mainly from the Global North, to be shared as widely as possible, in order to enhance understanding of the most pressing issues in education. To this end, and with a view to supporting the production and publication of research emanating from China, this workshop seeks to enhance the journal article and grant proposal writing skills of a cohort of China-based early career scholars. It is hoped that this will serve to enable China-based researchers to respond to the significant pressure in Chinese institutions to share research with an international audience and that it will also help counteract stereotypes about low-quality, uncritical Chinese research.
