Rogier is a clinical microbiologist and professor of infectious diseases at the University of Oxford (UK), based in Hanoi, Vietnam for the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU), one of Wellcome's major international programmes. Rogier leads a team of 50 research and research support staff with a broad programme on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), from genomes to behavioral sciences and policy advocacy. As such, Rogier is also interested to learn from and contribute to the Just Transitions programme.
