The proposed workshop will be a comprehensive, four-day workshop for early career researchers seeking to publish in international peer-reviewed journals, focusing on the key criteria involved in journal editors’ selection processes and peer-review. Based on the inside knowledge of experienced academic authors' and editors, the workshop is designed to develop essential skills in writing articles to increase researchers’ chances of placing their work in high impact scholarly journals, to the benefit of their academic profile and career prospects. The workshop will also include a session on grant writing, which will be presented by one of our multiple grant winners. While this workshop will provide participants with plenty of time to network and engage with academicians and editors from the UK, a planned follow-up event will help them to continue engaging with academicians and will ensure that the researchers work on finalising their papers.

Workshop Team: Dr Sarita Panday, University of Sheffield; Dr Biraj Karmacharya, Kathmandu University; Dr Puspanjali Adhikari, Kathmandu University
