Increasing the number of women in parliaments is a key development challenge. The Pacific region has the lowest levels of women’s representation in the world. Many countries have only one or two women MPs. Some, such as the Federated States of Micronesia, have none at all. This project seeks to provide a platform for gender and politics scholars from the Global South to develop their research on this problem.
