Project

This workshop aims to enhance research skills and build up publication capacity in areas of social science, including (but not limited to) accounting, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and sustainability in Southeast Asia. The workshop facilitates early career researchers (ECRs) to develop knowledge and skills for more research output and publications in high-impact international journals. Primarily, ECRs from local universities in provinces rather than in the big cities from Southeast Asia will be supported with training regarding research methodology, critical writing skills, and publishing. ECRs will be supported and mentored by a team of UK-based senior scholars who have published numerous publications in high-ranked international journals and act as editors of several international journals. The workshop also provides an opportunity for ECRs from different Southeast Asian countries to expand networking with their peers and work together as co-authors of research papers and co-applicants of research grants in the future.

Workshop Team: Professor Tam Nguyen, Nottingham Trent University; Dr Hanh Le, Ton Duc Thang University.
