Secretary: Professor Almut Hintze FBA

The aim of the Corpus Inscriptionum Iranicarum is to publish a comprehensive and permanent record of Iranian inscriptions and documents. A full list of publications is available online.

Its scope includes inscriptions and documents (but not literary texts) in Iranian languages, whether found in Iran or elsewhere, and those in non-Iranian languages, if they were found in Iran or are versions of texts in an Iranian language. A supplementary series provides for the inclusion of relevant works, eg glossaries and grammars, which fall outside the scope of the main series.
