29 Apr 2024

The British Academy has today announced 29 International Writing Workshops to support early career researchers in developing countries.

The International Writing Workshops programme aims to encourage professional networks and mentorship for early career researchers, and to provide access to the academic requirement of journals, equipping them with the necessary skills to publish in these journals.

Funded by the UK’s International Science Partnerships fund managed by the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology, this year’s programme includes workshops taking place in Brazil, Egypt, Kenya and Thailand. The funding awards are for a maximum of £30,000 and will run over the course of two years, allowing for impactful follow-up activities.
