New titles added to British Academy Publications Online

Oxford University Press and the British Academy for the humanities and social sciences are pleased to announce that from 31st January 2013, British Academy Publications Online (BAPO) will be updated with 28 new titles.

Titles are being added to nine of the fourteen modules, including In Defence of Learning which is being added to the Sociology module. This title celebrates the work of the Council for Assisting Refugee Academics (originally the ‘Society for the Protection of Science and Learning’) which was established in the 1930s to rescue scientists and scholars from Nazi-occupied Europe. For the various series included within BAPO, all front-list titles will also be made available on the site for the first time.
