Identities report launched at Academy

The Government Chief Scientific Adviser, Sir John Beddington, launched the latest Foresight report at the Academy on 21 January. The report, 'Future Identities: Changing Identities in the UK: The next 10 Years', explores what social scientists have discovered about how people see themselves and others, and the implications for policy. The report highlights the complexity of the notion, with many professing multiple and overlapping identities. Professor Anthony Heath FBA was a member of the steering group.
