Fellows of the British Academy recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours

Three Fellows of the British Academy were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for their contribution to scholarship and national life.

The following scholars were recognised for their contribution to the humanities and social sciences:

  • Professor Sarah Worthington FBA received a DBE for services to English Private Law.
  • Professor Sophie Scott FBA received a CBE for services to Neuroscience.
  • Professor Imran Rasul FBA received an OBE for services to Social Sciences.

President of the British Academy, Professor Sir David Cannadine, said:

I offer my warmest congratulations to all those Fellows who have received honours in recognition of their distinguished achievements. I am most delighted to see esteemed scholars in the humanities and social sciences honoured in this way.
