Fellows of the British Academy recognised in New Year’s Honours 2022

Three Fellows of the British Academy have been conferred with public honours in the New Year 2022 Public Honours List. The list recognises outstanding achievements across the UK:
- Professor Sir Paul Nurse Hon FBA has been awarded a CH for services to Science and Medicine in the UK and Abroad.
- Professor James Diggle FBA has been awarded a CBE for services to Classical Scholarship.
- Professor Laura Bear FBA has been awarded MBE for services to Anthropology during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Professor Julia Black, President of the British Academy, said:
