British Academy Prizes and Medals Ceremony 2014

Outstanding contribution to research in the humanities and social sciences is to be celebrated tonight at the British Academy Prizes and Medals Ceremony 2014.

Each year the British Academy awards a range of prizes and medals on the recommendation of specialist committees. 

Two new awards will be made for the first time this year: the Brian Barry Prize for Political Science and the Neil & Saras Smith Medal for Linguisitcs.
