Ancient Greek music to be resurrected
23 Oct 2013
The music of ancient Greece is to be brought back to life by Armand D'Angour, thanks to funding from the British Academy. Dr D'Angour, a musician and tutor in classics at Oxford University, was awarded a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship in March 2013. The funding runs from 1 October for one year.
The Academy intends, through its Mid-Career Fellowships, to support outstanding individual researchers with excellent research proposals, and to promote public understanding and engagement with humanities and social sciences.
