Summary
Tony Prosser has been Professor of Public Law at Bristol since 2002 and a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe, Bruges, since 2009. Previously he was John Millar Professor of Law at the University of Glasgow and had taught at the universities of Hull and Sheffield; he was also a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. He was a member of the Law Sub-Panel for the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. He specialises in public law relating to economic management, including regulation of public utilities and fiscal and monetary policy. He teaches constitutional law, law and government and law and social theory at Bristol and law and regulation at the College of Europe.
