Kirsty Hooper's research interests are Spanish, Anglo-Spanish, and Galician cultural history since 1800; the global nineteenth century; minority languages and cultures; genealogies; and the histories and legacies of Hispanic communities in the United Kingdom, especially London and Liverpool.
