Join the British Academy and Mary on the Green for a special afternoon exploring Mary Wollstonecraft in ‘the village that changed the world’, Newington Green. Listen to Roberta Wedge, campaigner for the world's first statue to England's first feminist, discuss Wollstonecraft's life in situ. Follow in the footsteps of the young unpublished schoolteacher, admiring the recent street art dedicated to her, and concluding with a private view of the 1708 chapel where she worshipped.
