As part of Open House London, discover the historic home of the British Academy, the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences. Explore the Grade 1 listed John Nash-designed terraced houses whose previous residents include former Prime Minister William Gladstone and the Ridley family. Guided and self-guided tours will take you through the art, architecture and history of 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, from their 19th-century beginnings to the present day.
Guided tours run every half hour between 11:30 and 14:00, with a maximum of 15 people per tour. Self-guided tours are available between 11:00 and 15:15.
Free, drop in.
Entrance is on a first come, first served basis.
