This event is organised by the British Institute in Eastern Africa


Dr Edward George, Head of the UK Representative Office of Ecobank, will give the keynote speech, concentrating on East Africa as the pathfinder for Fintech innovation in Africa, starting with P2P payments on M-PESA and growing into an array of financial services using digital channels. He will also look at the future for Fintech in East Africa and the rising competition from innovation hubs elsewhere on the continent.
