Elevate International Scoping: Invitation to Tender
The British Academy is seeking an organisation or individual to conduct a two‑year scoping study in Africa examining the current provision of leadership and career‑advancement training for early career researchers (ECRs) working in Social Sciences, Humanities, and the Arts for People and the Economy (SHAPE) disciplines.
The study should map existing training opportunities, identify gaps in provision, outline the key actors delivering this training, review relevant networks, and provide recommendations on what additional support could be developed to strengthen ECR leadership skills.
This study should also consider how the British Academy’s existing Early Career Researcher Network Elevate Leadership and Advancement Programme could potentially be adapted or delivered in an African context for ECRs.
