Witold Klaus is Professor at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. For the duration of his Visiting Fellowship he is hosted by Edge Hill University.

During his time in the UK, Professor Klaus will seek to develop knowledge in Poland and the United Kingdom about the pre- and post-deportation experiences of EU nationals. He will focus on the experiences of Polish migrants removed from the UK. This group consist, inter alia, of post-sentence deportees and those removed under European Arrest Warrants. The research will be carried out in co-operation with Dr Agnieszka Martynowicz from Edge Hill University.
