Dr Isaac Baley

Isaac Baley is Assistant Professor of Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, Spain. For the duration of his Visiting Fellowship he is hosted by the University of Bristol.

Dr Isaac BaleyDr Baley's research seeks to understand how agents behave in environments with uncertainty and the implications of their choices for macroeconomic outcomes, such as monetary policy, international trade and labour markets. During his time in the UK, Dr Baley will work with Dr Alireza Sepahsalari from University College London. They will study how the rise of new technologies and occupations creates a more uncertain labour market, and will analyse how workers adjust their behaviour to cope with these risks.
