Summary
This publication is a product of the UK-India Early Career Knowledge Symposium on Violence & Democracy, convened by the British Academy and the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies in New Delhi from 29-30 November 2018. The symposium brought together 30 early career researchers from the UK and India and aimed to incentivise and establish engagement and collaboration across a broad range of disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, support the next generation of talent, and enhance scholarly mobility between India and the UK. This publication includes contributions from both India- and UK-based participants in the symposium.
