A project aimed at stimulating debate around the provision of researcher support in African higher education.
The Nairobi Process is a British Academy-led initiative which focuses on the challenges of undertaking research in the social sciences and the humanities in Africa. We are taking forward this work, in collaboration with UK and African partners, through a variety of activities, such as the Africa Desk and a series of writing workshops for early career researchers.

This programme of activities aims to enable different communities of research and practice to illustrate the validity and unique added value of international and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We foster international collaboration in the humanities and social sciences, and promote the sharing of international perspectives on global challenges.
