The IVF History Project

Project Director: Professor Sarah Franklin, Sociology Professor, University of Cambridge

The project has three aims: to conduct interviews with key scientists, journalist and policy makers involved in the clinical translation of human IVF in the postwar period in the UK, to find, deposit and catalogue archival material relevant to this period, and to produce an interdisciplinary account of IVF as a case study in biomedical translation.
