Circa £50k – £54k per annum

The British Academy - the UK’s national Academy for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Head of Human Resources to help build our profile and increase public awareness of the value and importance of the humanities and social sciences.

The Head of HR will be fundamental in developing and implementing the HR strategy which will address the challenges and opportunities facing the British Academy as it becomes a larger and more complex organisation.

A key aspect of this role will be reviewing current policies and frameworks in areas such as Learning & Development, Appraisal & Performance Management and Reward Strategy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to effect positive change that will build upon our core belief that investing in our staff and committing to their development is of the utmost importance.
