Transnational Italy: language, space and the study of culture

What do we mean when we talk about Italian culture? In a post-national age, should we be studying Italian culture from a transnational perspective? This lecture discussed how our understanding is enriched when we concentrate on the web of interconnections between cultures and on how cultural practices are translated across place and time.
