Roy Foster discusses Ireland’s revolutionary generation

Professor R F Foster FBA was awarded a British Academy Medal in 2015 for his book Vivid Faces: The Revolutionary Generation in Ireland 1890-1923 (published 2014, paperback 2015, Penguin).

He talks to Professor Richard English FBA about the significance of the book as we approach the centenary of the Easter Rising.
