Rowan Williams: Representing Religion in Fiction and Drama

Lord Rowan Williams of Oystermouth FBA, Master, Magdalene College, University of Cambridge

‘Representing religion in fiction and drama’

Recorded at the British Academy Soirée, Tuesday 28 June 2016

Institutional religion may not be in the best of health, but it still crops up as a prod to thinking in a variety of imaginative works. This talk looks at a couple of recent plays and novels to see exactly in what way a reference to religion does in these contexts.
