This lecture explored the prospects for resolving the controversy in the light of the outcome of the general election of May 2015. Helen Wallace examined both the domestic debates within the UK and the implications for the EU of possible changes to the UK’s status. About the speaker: Helen Wallace was the Foreign Secretary of the British Academy up to July 2015. She is a leading expert on the United Kingdom’s relationship with the European Union.
