Senior International Policy Adviser (Maternity Cover) (12-month FTC)

The British Academy – the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences – is seeking a Senior International Policy Adviser to join our busy International team. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to take forward the delivery of the Academy’s international programmes and activities, including specific responsibility for managing a set of thematic programmes and activities and producing policy-focused outputs.

The current work programme includes a broad portfolio of topics such as Europe’s Futures; Conflict, Stability & Security; Justice, Rights & Equality; Urban Futures; and Knowledge Frontiers. There is also a range of capacity-building and institutional strengthening initiatives overseas, geared towards enhancing the skills and capabilities of researchers and research institutions within the social sciences and the humanities as well as promoting the creation of long-term sustainable links with the UK.
